Expanded Schedule – Check out my new classes!

Ready to ramp up your training as autumn begins? Let me tell you about some exciting new class offerings starting this fall to keep you moving, strengthening, and headed straight toward your goals. These are my regular, ongoing weekly classes. In my next blog post, I’ll give you all the details on some incredible upcoming workshops and short series I’ll be running. Stay tuned!


Mat Pilates: Tuesdays and Thursdays

If you want more mat Pilates in Montpelier, I have great news for you! I’ll be teaching twice a week on River Street in Montpelier at Essential PT and Pilates. They will be offering mat Pilates four days a week and I’ll be teaching Tuesdays at 12pm and Thursdays at 8am.  My classes start on September 13th and will run for 8 weeks. If there’s plenty of interest, classes will be ongoing, so get your punch card now! For the month of September, Essential PT & Pilates will offer a discount to all first-time punch card buyers who came from First In Fitness. A 12-class punch card will be discounted to $110 (usually $132) and a 6-class punch card will only set you back $60 (usually $72).  Those cards have a 1-year expiration date. You can see their full schedule on the website, and my classes will appear on the website soon.  Let them know I sent you!

Barre + Pilates: Tuesdays

An energetic, fun workout that melds together fitness techniques from boot camp, ballet, Pilates, and Yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. This method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added mat work to challenge the core and your stability, balance and stamina. Boot Camp: Wednesdays

Give me an hour of your day and I’ll make it worth your while! This 6-week series is designed to take ANYONE from their baseline fitness level and propel them forward in strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, body composition and more. These 12 classes start September 19th and will each be unique, engaging, hard work and fun. Movements will be functional (real-life stuff like lifting, throwing, squatting, jumping, etc.) and focus on core strength and conditioning. Each workout will have many methods of customization available. Topics like nutrition, recovery, goal setting, self-care, and progress tracking among others will be covered. You can expect us to use yoga, Pilates, PT and other movement prep strategies to work on mobility, flexibility, and stability within our joints. Those with problem areas or past injuries will be assigned “homework” to help improve their soft tissue issues. Workouts will be balanced, thoughtfully designed efforts ranging from long, endurance-focused work to shorter strength and stamina-focused work. Everything is done at YOUR speed and nobody gets left behind. This 6-week series meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm at The Confluence in Berlin. Rowing: Wednesdays

Whether your interest lies in increasing your fitness, gaining some strength, or finding a fun place to go when it gets cold outside, my rowing class is the place to be Wednesdays at 4:45pm at The Confluence in Berlin.  In my class you’ll find instruction on how to use the indoor rower, drills and skill work to improve individual technique, and plenty of opportunity to work your body.  As your coach I will find places in your movement where you can gain strength, connection, and coordination.  Through drills, skill work and practice, you will become more successful with producing power on the rowing machine.  You might even find an increase in overall core strength, stamina and endurance as a product of your rowing training. The workouts are constantly varied, and you’ll challenge your body to make improvements in power, strength, stamina, endurance, flexibility, coordination and speed.  The goal behind each workout is to provide an avenue to test your skill, make measurable progress and excel in ways that will potentially translate to your everyday life.  Sign up here.


Run + Barre: Fridays

This class will get you in shape fast and keep you at the top of your game!  30 minutes of outdoor drills to make you a better runner, 30 minutes at the barre building strength, flexibility and balance. Improve your stability, endurance, speed, and power in this total body workout. And so that I can practice some work/life balance, I will be removing my Thursday evening Totalbarre class from the schedule effective after September 1st.  There will be a final Thursday Totalbarre class on September 1st at 6:30pm.  Hope all my barre class go-ers can join me!
